The 2010s

The decade we just had was one for the books. The years from 2010-2019 came with some ups and downs. This decade brought us Donald Trump, the death of Osama Bin Laden, and the dance sensation the “woah”. We’re going to look at the best and worst of the 2010s decade.

Dances that Took Over the Nation

The 2010s brought us some things the world has never seen before. Social Media dancing became a hobby that many teens and adults started doing. Some new artists became famous of these dances that took the nation by storm. The decade brought us the whip, the nae-nae, the woah, hitting the folks, the dab, and a host of other tick tock dances.

Osama Bin Laden?

This decade also brought us the death of Osama Bin Laden. The man responsible for the terrorist attacks on the United States on September 11, 2001. He was killed in May of 2011 by U.S navy seals ordered by former president Barack Obama.

Donald Trump and a Different America

On November 8, 2016 a very unusual thing happened in our country. Donald J Trump, a famous businessman with no political experience became president of the United States. This election changed America. Trump, who is currently still our president, has been very rude in his comments about certain topics. He is currently facing impeachment charges in the Senate. If found guilty he will be removed from office, the first president that will be removed.

The 2010’s was a decade with good and bad times. However, we should never forget what this decade brought us.
