Jennifer Diehl is one of the new Comprehensive Development Classroom (CDC) teachers at Stewarts Creek High School.  Teaching CDC was her first career choice and she is now in her tenth year of teaching and her first of teaching high school.  She can teach all subjects but she prefers to teach Reading.  Previously she taught at Lascassas Elementary for nine years as a CDC instructor.  She graduated from MTSU with a Bachelors in K-12 Special Education with an endorsement in K-6 Reading and tested to teach Severe-Profound students (those with more physical and medical needs). She also received a Masters in Administration.  Diehl shared as her fun fact: “I’ve never jumped off a diving board.”  She loves helping children and enjoys the ‘summers off’ perk of being a teacher.  She says, “You can make any CDC teacher happy with a Diet Coke or a Diet Dr. Pepper, but we mostly love to see when typically-developing students are kind to the CDC kids.  Genuinely kind.”
